Principal & Founding Director
Laura Raso is a Licensed Conveyancer with over 25 years’ experience in conveyancing and property law. She holds a Certified Practising Conveyancer (CPC) from the Australian Institute of Conveyancers (Vic. Div). Laura worked at Melbourne’s top law firms before opening Darebin & Monnee Valley Conveyancing.
As Principal Conveyancer, she oversees all files from contract reviews to settlement. Laura ensures buyers’ interests are protected and prepares high-standard Contracts of Sale.
She also has extensive experience assisting developers with complex Plans of Subdivision.
Rachel Doubleday
Senior Conveyancer
Rachel is a passionate and experienced Licensed Conveyancer with nearly 20 years in the legal industry.
Her strong knowledge across all areas of conveyancing, combined with a customer-first approach, helps clients feel confident and supported throughout the process.
Clients describe her as approachable, informative, and dedicated.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys cooking, cleaning (yes, it’s a hobby!), reading, baking, music, shopping, and socialising. She’s a proud Hawks supporter, follows Formula 1 & horse racing.
Belinda Prout
Senior Conveyancer
Belinda is a highly experienced Licensed Conveyancer with over a decade in the property industry.
She has a proven track record of guiding clients through their transactions with confidence, clarity, and care. Her exceptional organisational skills and proactive approach ensure a smooth process from start to finish, while her friendly, approachable nature helps clients feel informed and supported every step of the way.
When she’s not helping clients achieve their property goals, Belinda enjoys travelling, going to concerts, and discovering new cuisines from around the world.
Belle Challis
Conveyancer
Belle brings over five years of experience in conveyancing and legal administration, having worked across residential, commercial, and estate matters.
She is recognised for her exceptional organisational skills, clear communication, and ability to make the process as seamless and stress-free as possible. Building strong, trust-based relationships with clients and industry partners is at the heart of her approach, ensuring every transaction is handled with professionalism and care.
Outside of work, Belle enjoys Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, baking sweet treats, and getting lost in a good book.
Natalie Mamone
Conveyancing Support
Natalie holds a law degree and brings valuable legal knowledge and strong organisational skills to the team.
She plays an important role in keeping matters on track, ensuring documentation is accurate, and supporting the smooth progression of each file. With her attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality service, Natalie helps provide a seamless experience for clients from start to finish.
Outside of work, Natalie enjoys spending time with her family—which includes her partner, two kids, and two dogs. She loves to travel, and in her spare time, she enjoys watching movies and TV shows, as well as gaming.
Julie Rutherford
Client Relations
Julie is a skilled and dependable professional in our team, fulfilling the role of Receptionist and Administrative Assistant, blending her background in customer service with enthusiasm and efficiency.
Julie brings invaluable organisational skills and attention to detail to support clients with their enquiries for all their conveyancing needs.
Her friendly and proactive approach ensures every client interaction is positive and efficient.
Outside of work, Julie enjoys cooking, family time, going to the gym and watching Netflix on a cold winters night with a glass of pinot.
Selma Kotoski
Marketing & Business Operations
Selma has a passion for all things property—buying, selling, styling, building, and developing.
She gained valuable experience in conveyancing, managing files from start to settlement and supporting client inquiries. This prepared her for her role as Marketing & Business Operations Coordinator, where she applies her diverse skills to enhance daily operations.
Outside of work, Selma enjoys travelling, camping and developing property. She’s also known for perfecting her olive and halloumi bread, a favourite among the team.
Sam Raso
Business Manager
A background in Supply Chain Management & Planning, Sam has worked for large organisations including; Ford, Delphi (GM) & Lion Nathan. Sam brings to Moonee Valley Conveyancing a strong skill set which includes; business administration, process management and strategic and tactical business planning.
Sam’s role as Business Manager covers all non-conveyancing aspects of the business including sales and marketing, I.T., payroll, accounts receivable and payable, and recruitment and HR.
Sam is a passionate Collingwood supporter whose interests include soccer, tennis, travelling, property development and share investment and attending his children’s sporting activities.
