Laura Raso is a Licensed Conveyancer with over 25 years’ experience in conveyancing and property law. She holds a Certified Practising Conveyancer (CPC), issued by the Australian Institute of Conveyancers. (Vic. Div.)

Laura worked at Melbourne’s top law firms for many years, before opening Moonee Valley Conveyancing and Darebin Conveyancing. She loves getting to know her clients and helping them through every step of their property transaction.

As the Principal Conveyancer, Laura oversees all conveyancing files from contract reviews through to settlements.

Laura reviews purchase contracts and ensures buyers’ interests are protected at all times. She also prepares / reviews all Contracts of Sales for sellers to the highest standard. Laura has extensive experience working with developers to prepare complex Plans of Subdivision.

Rachel is a passionate and experienced Licensed Conveyancer with almost 20 years in the legal industry.

With Rachel’s vast understanding of all areas of conveyancing combined with her professional, customer-first approach, she confidently guides clients through the entire conveyancing process with ease. Rachel encourages clients to ask questions and firmly believes every question is valuable and worth asking. It’s no wonder clients describe Rachel as approachable, informative and dedicated.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys cooking, cleaning (yes, it's a hobby!), reading, listening to music, baking, socialising and shopping. She's a proud Hawks supporter, and follows F1 and horse racing.

Selma has a passion for all things property, whether it be buying, selling, styling, building or developing.

With prior experience as a conveyancer managing files from start to final settlement, Selma effortlessly assists clients with enquiries. Selma is friendly, efficient and does all she can to put clients at ease during their property transaction.  

Selma’s interests include travelling, cooking, entertaining family and friends and if she’s not watching her son play soccer on the weekends, you will find her camping in the bush.

Selma has perfected the art of making olive and halloumi bread, which the team enjoys devouring.

Early in Rebecca’s career as a legal assistant, she developed superior organisational skills which clients benefit from today. Currently studying Bachelor of Laws and with 5 years’ customerexperience behind her, Makayla assists clients with enquiries in a prompt andfriendly manner and supports them in every way possible. Makayla encouragesbuyers to engage with a conveyancer to review the Contract of Sale beforemaking an offer or bidding at auction, for a smooth purchasing journey.

Outside of work, Makayla enjoys cooking, spending time with friends and soaking up the joys of performing arts.

Sam Raso, Business Development & Marketing Manager

Bach. of Business (Supply Chain & Marketing)

A background in Supply Chain Management & Planning, Sam has worked for large organisations including; Ford, Delphi (GM) & Lion Nathan. Sam brings to Moonee Valley Conveyancing a strong skill set which includes; business administration, process management and strategic and tactical business planning.

Sam’s role as Business Manager covers all non-conveyancing aspects of the business including sales and marketing, I.T., payroll, accounts receivable and payable, and recruitment and HR.

Sam is a passionate Collingwood supporter whose interests include soccer, tennis, travelling, property development and share investment and attending his children’s sporting activities.
